ACE - A Little About What We Do

The Art Cover Exchange (ACE) promotes art, philately, friendship and correspondence among its members. The special emphasis of the group is in the artistic presentation of postal covers for exchange.

The summer is in full swing, and it has slowed up a little for ACE mail.  But, a number of ACE covers are still making their way to my mailbox.  I'm always grateful!  ACE mail making its way to members' mailboxes is the primary function of the group.  Quite a number of terrific covers arrived here over the past couple of months, including quite a few first day covers.  This month, I selected a cover that included a cachet that I thought was quite clever.  The stamp that was used was one among the Villains of Disney sheet.  Normally, I would have expected the cachet to include one of those villains depicted among the stamps.  But, as you can see in the above cover, a different set of characters was used (and some of my favorites!).  I felt that this cover from ACE 343 was deserving to be our web site's Cover of the Month!  Oh, and by the way, Happy Great ACE Day!!

The Art Cover Exchange is a proud affiliate of the American Philatelic Society (APS) - Affiliate 243, as well as a chapter of the American First Day Cover Society (AFDCS) - Chapter 79
