ACE - A Little About What We Do

The Art Cover Exchange (ACE) promotes art, philately, friendship and correspondence among its members. The special emphasis of the group is in the artistic presentation of postal covers for exchange.

It's been a steady month for ACE mail; quite a few ACE covers made their way to my mailbox this past month.  I'm always grateful!  ACE mail making its way to members' mailboxes is the primary function of the group.  Quite a number of terrific covers arrived here over the past month, including quite a few first day covers.  This month, I selected a cover that reflected a reference to a favorite sports pasttime: baseball.  Yes, the season is winding down, with the World Series in full swing.  You can tell from the expression on Charlie Brown's face that he's not too happy the season is almost over.  But, since I'm a Chicago Cubs fan, I'm elated that the season is ending with the Cubbies being in the World Series (as is ACE 20's Cleveland Indians!).  So, to honor these two longtime bridesmaids, I felt that this cover from ACE 487 was deserving to be our web site's Cover of the Month!

The Art Cover Exchange is a proud affiliate of the American Philatelic Society (APS) - Affiliate 243, as well as a chapter of the American First Day Cover Society (AFDCS) - Chapter 79
